Mindful Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Meditation – Private, Semi-private or Small Groups

Mindful Yoga:  Based on a mix of the ancient wisdom of Hatha Yoga and Mindfulness practices, Mindful Yoga invites you to slow down, tune into your body and be kind to yourself!  Mindful Yoga is a path, a journey, not to get somewhere else, but to be where we are, as we are in this very moment, with this very breath, whatever the experience might be.

I am a Registered Yoga Teacher with over 1000 hours of training.  I have been a certified Phoenix Rising Yoga Teacher since 2011 and completed a second 200-hour Hatha Yoga teacher training program at Buddha Rider Yoga and Cycle Studio as well as the PRYT 300-hour program  in 2015.  Over the past year, I also completed a 200-hour Ashaya Yoga teacher training, which focuses on alignment & heart-opening poses, as well as breath, meditation and even some philosophy.  I offer personalized instruction in mindful yoga and meditation for both new and experienced students, and for those looking for additional support for their practice.

I have also completed additional teacher training for Restorative Yoga.  Experience the deep relaxation of Restorative Yoga, where your mind and body are able to let go … and just be. Through a variety of supported postures, held longer than usual, you will calm the sympathetic nervous system thereby decreasing stress, stimulate and massage the internal organs of the body, and allow your mind to find presence through stillness. Treat yourself to this delicious practice – you deserve it!

Monthly Restorative Yoga Classes:

Experience the deep relaxation of Restorative Yoga, where your mind and body are able to let go … and just be. Through a variety of supported postures held longer than usual, you will calm the sympathetic nervous system (that constant state of “fight or flight”), allow the tension in your muscles to let go and release, and help to decrease stress as your mind and body find presence through stillness. You will leave the class feeling refreshed and restored!
