Recommended Reading

These are books that have influenced my own teaching and continue to shape my understanding of nutrition, brain health, healthy aging, and Ayurveda. I don’t necessarily agree with every recommendation made by every author, but each offers valuable insights that can help you better understand and care for your brain and body.

Note: Some of the books below discuss intermittent fasting and time-restricted eating. While these approaches can be valuable tools for many people, they are not appropriate for everyone. Educational materials, programs, products and services are not intended to provide medical advice or to take the place of advice and treatment from your personal health care provider. Readers are advised to consult their own qualified health professionals regarding any exercise program.
